One study conducted in the university of Kiel in Germany where they took a 114 women and they were aged between 45 and 65 and then they randomized them so half of them took a placebo and the other half to took collagen every day for eight weeks and then they measure the collagen levels before the study and then they measured the collagen levels after and what they discover was after eight weeks they had increased by 65 percent which is pretty significant.
They also did a wrinkled volume test where they measured that before and after and there was a statistically significant decrease in eye wrinkle volume and an increase in Elastin and another substance called Fibrillin.

You take the collagen peptide which is the right size to trigger production of collagen into parts of your body so in this case you drink it your body thinks that you’re losing collagen that collagen the body is being degraded so it sends this signal like to start producing collagen.
Where does it come? What derived from? Collagen can be derived from animal sources or plants or vegetarian sources. The best type contains porcine collagen because the research shows its similiar to human collagen and the research show that it works. Vegetarian or plant collagen is not exactly the same so less effective.
